Dear Mr. Crane and Mr. Hardisty:
Would you consider the following, instead of spending
1.5 million in tax dollars?
Police and Storage building
If we took out the junk furniture and police storage
in the unused 2/3 of this building, wouldn't there be
more room available than is currently needed by the town
planner, the building inspector and sanitation dept. for
office space?
Wouldn't that put the building inspector, town planner,
and sanitation dept. on a ground floor office? That way
the public wouldn't have to enter two different buildings,
navigate two stairs, 90 steps, to look into two separate
files, to humor two secretaries, to get two signatures,
if they are lucky, to allow the tax payers to do something
they are legally entitled to do anyway?
Chet Hardisty and Dick Crane, does this sound like fun
or friendly government?
P.S. Wouldn't the handicapped then be able to use those
offices?
